The I-91 Tech. Center is an upscale low-rise professional office complex in a park like setting. This project would be complex just as a normal re-roofing project with over 115,000 SF of roof replacement over a sensitive, multi-tenant, corporate interior with 5 separate roofs. Now add the fact that the project had phenolic insulation that deteriorated the metal deck that would need to be wire brushed, vacuumed, painted and bad deck removed and replaced. This all had to be accomplished while keeping the interior dust free and watertight during the installation of a Ballasted EPDM roof system.

The majority the building required interior protection hung from the ceiling to maintain an uncontaminated environment. The warehouse never shut down during the 4-month operation. After the metal deck was prepared the warehouse was re-roofed with a 4-ply BUR Roof System.

As a warehouse and manufacturing facility, we were keen to the needs of the building owner to produce this project in a timely & efficient manner without disruption to the tenants. Due to the presence of gusting mountain winds safety was of the utmost importance for everybody included in this project. We successfully installed an energy conscious White TPO Mechanically Attached Roof System.
